I know it’s been REALLY long since I’ve updated and I’ve gotten quite a few complaints. A lot has happened in the last month. For starters, we moved to Riverdale- this is the main reason for the lack of updating. For the few weeks before we moved Ari and I spent all our “free time” packing and I’m sure the next few weeks will be spent unpacking (I’m just taking a little break now).

I’ll start with the new things that Maayan has been doing…she has gotten really good at crawling and walking while holding someone’s hand/furniture, this means that she gets into trouble a lot more. She loves to pick up crumbs and lint off the rug and eat it- you’d think we weren’t feeding her! Yesterday she discovered the Kleenex box which she really likes- she takes out a Kleenex and rips it into pieces so she can try to eat it- today when I went to take it from her hand she put it behind her back like she was trying to hide it from me, I thought that was really smart of her (even though I won and she didn’t get to eat it). Maayan has also gotten much better about spending time with people other that Ari and me which is really nice for us.

Since I will be starting work in a few weeks we interviewed a few babysitter and we hired one on Friday, her name is Cathy and she seemed really good with Maayan and very friendly- hopefully it will all work out.
